Analyst reveals the alleged iPhone roadmap through to the 2nd half of 2027 and there's a lot to come

You may need to start saving now, because an analyst may have shown us the roadmap that Apple is allegedly using for its new iPhones.

With 2025 now in the rear-view mirror, one detail has people paying extra attention: his predictions for last year appear to have landed right on target.

That means the rest of the roadmap, stretching through 2026 and 2027, is suddenly looking a lot more interesting for Apple fans watching what comes next.

And if you were thinking the iPhone release calendar might slow down anytime soon, this chart suggests the opposite.

Analyst reveals the alleged iPhone roadmap

According to the image linked to respected Apple gadget analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the second half of 2025 was forecast to bring us the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Now that we are in mid 2026, that part of the roadmap appears to have played out exactly as expected, giving the wider timeline a lot more credibility.

That has turned attention to the next predicted launches.

The first half of 2026 was said to include the iPhone 17e, keeping a more affordable option in the lineup before the bigger flagship launches later in the year.

If the roadmap continues to hold true, the most dramatic changes may still be ahead.

There’s a lot to come by the second half of 2027

The second half of 2026 is where things get especially interesting, with the chart claiming Apple could launch an iPhone Fold alongside the iPhone 18 Air, iPhone 18 Pro, and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

A foldable iPhone has been rumored for years, so this would be one of the company’s biggest design shifts in a long time.

Then, in the first half of 2027, the roadmap points to the iPhone 18 and iPhone 18e arriving, before the second half of the year allegedly brings an iPhone Fold 2, plus the iPhone 19 Air, iPhone 19 Pro, and iPhone 19 Pro Max.

Nothing here is official until Apple says so, but when someone appears to have called the 2025 lineup correctly, people tend to listen a little more closely to what comes next.
