Ferrari has created a laptop that's almost as exclusive as one of its supercars

Ferrari is best known for building some of the most coveted supercars on the planet, but now it’s put its famous badge on something that nicely fits in your backpack – a laptop.

The iconic Italian supercar brand has teamed up with HP to create a limited-edition laptop inspired by its legendary cars.

And in true Ferrari fashion, it’s bursting with exclusivity.

Only 4,999 are being made worldwide, so if you want to get your hands on one, then you better move fast.

Standout features of the Ferrari laptop

This isn’t a case of Ferrari simply sticking its iconic jumping horse badge on an ordinary laptop filled with ordinary tech and calling it a day.

The new machine has been designed to look and feel like it belongs alongside a fleet of exotic supercars.

It’s finished in a striking Ferrari red and features carbon fiber details throughout, giving it the same sort of premium feel you’d expect from one of the brand’s road cars.

One of the coolest touches is a small window that lets owners peek inside the laptop, much like the glass engine covers found on some Ferrari supercars.

Fans will also discover plenty of hidden details scattered around the design, including references to the company’s famous Fiorano test track and styling cues inspired by the world of motorsport.

Just like a limited-run Ferrari, every machine is individually numbered, meaning owners know exactly which one of the 4,999 examples they managed to get their hands on.

It comes with a hefty price tag

Of course, the Italian supercar brand isn’t exactly known for making affordable products.

The laptop carries a very hefty price tag of $5,599, which is enough to make anyone wince when they look at their bank balance.

Still, exclusivity has never been cheap.

For die-hard Ferrari collectors, this isn’t really about having a laptop to answer emails or browse the internet.

It’s more like owning a rare piece of memorabilia that you can bring to the office and flex on everyone

The limited-edition laptop goes on sale from June 12, and given the supercar company’s loyal fanbase, there’s a good chance many of the 4,999 units won’t stay available for long.

After all, not everyone can park a Ferrari in their garage.

But a Ferrari on the kitchen table is a much more achievable way to bring a little bit of Maranello into everyday life.
