Follow these five tips to improve your iPhone's battery life and stop it from degrading too quickly

If your iPhone’s battery life is draining faster than you’d like, there are a few simple tweaks that can make a big difference and help stop it from degrading too quickly.
The good news is that Apple already builds plenty of battery-saving tools into the iPhone, but loads of people never actually switch them on.
A lot of battery wear comes down to everyday habits, from blasting brightness to letting your phone sit cooking in the sun while it charges.
So if you want your iPhone to last longer during the day and stay healthier in the long run, these five tips are a very good place to start.
Improve your iPhone’s battery life with these everyday settings
The first gadget tip is the easiest one of all: switch on Low Power Mode when you know you’re going to be out for a while.
Apple says this reduces background activity, lowers brightness, and cuts back on power-hungry features that quietly eat through your charge.
Tip two is to turn your iPhone’s brightness down and stop your display from working harder than it needs to.

Apple’s own guidance says dimming the screen extends battery life, which makes sense when the display is one of the biggest power drains on the phone.
Third, have a look at what’s eating up all your battery in Settings > Battery.
Apple now shows usage insights and suggestions there, so if one app is behaving badly, your iPhone will often tell you.
Stop it from degrading too quickly with smarter charging habits
Tip four is all about charging more intelligently.
Apple says Optimized Battery Charging is designed to reduce wear by cutting down the time your iPhone spends sitting at 100 percent, and newer models can also use a Charge Limit between 80 and 100 percent.
The fifth tip is the one people ignore all the time: keep your iPhone away from heat.
Apple warns that using or charging it in temperatures above 95 degrees Fahrenheit can permanently reduce battery lifespan, and certain phone cases can trap extra heat while charging.

Saving your iPhone battery is not about some secret hack buried deep in the settings menu.
Most of it comes down to making a few smarter choices every day, and your future battery health will thank you for it.
