These are some incredible keyboard shortcuts that every single Mac owner should know

Your Apple Mac comes with some very useful keyboard shortcuts, including two that will make you a lot more organized.
Windows crams a whole load of keyboard shortcuts into its devices, and it’s a similar story for Apple.
You’re probably familiar with most of the common ones, like Command and Z to undo, Command and C to Copy, and Command and T to open up a new tab.
But there are two others to add to your arsenal that’ll make getting more organized a breeze.

There are a couple of very useful Mac keyboard shortcuts to know
Whether you’re a seasoned Mac user or have recently jumped on board with the new affordable MacBook Neo, there are always clever little keyboard shortcuts to be learned.
And there are two in particular that can help you keep your computer more organized.

Use this three-key shortcut to create a new folder in Finder
If you open up the Finder on your Mac, you’ll be greeted with a bunch of files and folders.
But if you want to create a brand new folder, you’re just three key pushes away.
Next time you’re in Finder, hit Shift, Command, and N, and you’ll automatically create a new folder and be able to give it a new name.
This can come in particularly handy if you’ve got a bunch of loose files and you want to neaten things up a bit.
And implementing the keyboard shortcut is quicker and easier than having to create one using the mouse.
Make a new Smart Folder with a couple of taps
Similar to the easy keyboard shortcut above, you can also create a new Smart Folder on your Mac by tapping three keys.
Apple Smart Folders are virtual folders that automatically gather files or notes based on specific criteria you set, for example, tags, dates, or important keywords.
Rather than saving them in a set physical location on your computer, these Smart Folders act a bit like a saved search and update in real-time when new files that match the rules are made or modified.
In short, they’re pretty smart folders.
And to set up a new one while you’re working on your Mac, you can simply hit Option, Command, and N.
You can customize your Mac keyboard shortcuts
As mentioned, Apple has an extensive list of Mac keyboard shortcuts, and while there’s nowhere on your computer to see them all in one place, the tech giant does keep an updated list online.
The lengthy list of almost 200 shortcuts covers just about anything and everything you could need.

Memorizing a bunch of keyboard shortcuts is no mean feat, but to make things easier, Apple allows you to customize some shortcuts so you can change the command to something more memorable or easier for you to use.
To give it a go, head to System Settings, click Keyboard, and then hit Keyboard Shortcuts.
Here you can select a category, like Spotlight or Mission Control, and select the tickbox next to the shortcut you want to change.
Double-click the current key combination, then type in the new combination you’d rather use. And voila! Your shortcuts are now personalized.
