Man builds a business from scratch only following ChatGPT's advice and shares everything that happens

A man asked ChatGPT to help him build a ‘profitable service business’ from scratch, and revealed how it all went after following its instructions to the letter.

AI chatbots like ChatGPT or Claude can work as great sounding boards to bounce around ideas and offer some interesting advice.

However, YouTuber 3.7 Million decided to take things a step further and vowed to follow the exact advice ChatGPT gave him about starting up a new business.

Interestingly, the bot recommended he set up a cleaning business, which was something he had prior experience with, but how would the AI-led business compare to his old human-run one?

He asked ChatGPT for a detailed breakdown of what he should do

You may have read somewhat worrying reports about AI replacing people in the workplace.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has recently revealed that within the next decade, he expects to have around 75,000 working with a whopping 7.5 million AI agents

Meanwhile, Microsoft has compiled a list of 40 jobs most at risk of being made obsolete due to AI.

However, YouTube content creator 3.7 Million decided to flip the script by using AI to help him build a business from scratch.

He started with a simple prompt, asking the chatbot to share the top five profitable service businesses that ‘regular people’ can start.

The bot gave him a handful of options, including social media management, but as he wanted an ‘offline business’, he opted for a cleaning business.

The YouTuber had some experience running his own cleaning business, having previously set one up.

That time around, after a few weeks of work, he made $430.

But he was keen to see how his human-run business would compare to one that had AI in the driving seat.

After coming up with the initial idea, ChatGPT was then asked to create a business plan, which detailed what supplies he’d need, how much it’d cost, potential earnings, and even a niche he could lean into to maximize his profits.

It also gave him a name: Hello Pristine, a slogan, marketing material, including images, and a breakdown of the services the company offered. It even told him where to deliver his promotional fliers.

In short, all the man behind the new company had to do was the actual cleaning.

How did the AI-led business compare to the human-run one?

ChatGPT told the YouTuber he’d need a budget of $300 to get his business up and running.

This included cleaning products, social media adverts, launching a website, and printing fliers

And it didn’t take long for him to land his first job, and then the work continued to roll in.

“At this point, it was raining cleans, and I think I’ve found a cheat code,” he said.

And after following the advice of ChatGPT for a couple of weeks, the YouTuber revealed he had managed to make $850, a whole lot more than he’d managed when doing it without his AI helper.

He went on to say that he felt the difference was due to ChatGPT’s more targeted approach, explaining that when he had been running things, he had just been trying ‘random things’ to see what stuck.

He also credited having a website and making better use of social media ads with boosting his income.
