Someone opened up the iPhone 15 Pro with a 3D microscope and seeing inside the phone in this way is truly mind-blowing

A YouTuber decided to open up an iPhone 15 Pro and then take a peek with a 3D microscope, and seeing behind the scenes of your favorite device is a little bit mind-blowing.

What looked like a sleek bit of titanium and glass on the outside has suddenly turned into a tiny sci-fi film background, and it’s packed with dust clouds, hidden layers, and some very intricate engineering.

Under extreme magnification, even the smallest details that most of us would never notice became really cool to look at.

It makes the iPhone 15 Pro look less like a phone and more like a teeny tiny high-tech city.

The video starts with the outside of the iPhone, and even that is enough to stop you in your tracks.

The back glass appears to have a subtle grid pattern beneath the surface, which likely plays a part in the color process, while the frosted finish looks so precise it almost seems like it was made by a tiny laser.

Then things get even more interesting.

Tiny pockets of dust can be seen trapped between the glass and titanium frame, and the flash diffuser suddenly looks deeper, and even the microphone opening reveals details that would be completely invisible to the naked eye.

The cameras are especially interesting up close.

The telephoto lens contains the usual amount of microscopic dust, but the main camera looks packed with an entire cloud of dust, making it the most visibly dusty part of the phone under the microscope.

Once the creator, MacroLab3D, actually opened up the device, the iPhone 15 Pro became even more impressive.

Inside, there are different screw types, different screw lengths, layers of glue, gold-plated contacts, thermal conductors, and components so tiny they make the matchstick look huge by comparison.

The Face ID system is one of the coolest BTS reveals, with its infrared flood illuminator, dot projector, and infrared camera all behind the Dynamic Island like a secret little security team.

The screen also has a surprisingly complex sensor grid behind it, while the inside edge of the display shows just how many layers are working together every time you tap, swipe, or scroll.

It makes you realize just how much engineering is packed into something you casually throw in your pocket every day.

One close look at the iPhone 15 Pro with a 3D microscope like this, and suddenly every fingerprint, scratch, and speck of dust feels like you’re treating something very precious quite badly.
