When Apple releases a new iOS version to coincide with the launch of a new iPhone, it’s not uncommon for users to experience weird bugs.
Thankfully, the company’s developers are generally quick to fix these issues and release a software update.
Unfortunately, even with new iOS updates, the iPhone 15 appears to be plagued with strange problems.

Apparently, some users have now reported new issues with Wi-Fi on iOS17, especially with iPhone 15 models.
People are saying that their apps are unable to load content, or that their connection feels super slow when connected to Wi-Fi.
You’d expect your shiny new iPhone to be super speedy when you’re connected to Wi-Fi.
However, users are saying that despite being connected to Wi-Fi, their iPhone stops loading content in apps like Threads, TikTok, and even Safari.
Sometimes the issue disappears after a few minutes, but on occasion they have to manually disconnect and reconnect the Wi-Fi on their iPhone to get it working again.
The internet is awash with users reporting these issues, most of them with the new iPhone.
For example, a user on the Apple Community forums complained that the Wi-Fi was periodically disconnecting on their iPhone 15 Pro but worked fine with every other device.
Then on X, a user said that “pages load very slowly” when their iPhone is connected to Wi-Fi.
Having WiFi connection issues on my iPhone 15 Pro (at least on my home WiFi). Takes forever to connect and once it’s connected, pages load very slowly if at all. Then randomly it works for a bit. Then it doesn’t work anymore. Anyone else run into this?

It’s a similar story on Reddit, where one user claims that adjusting the Wi-Fi channel range to 20 MHz, 40 MHz, or 80 Mhz solved the problems.
“I’m connected but from time to time my iPhone won’t get any data, so I put it in flight mode and off again and it works again,” another said.
It’s not entirely clear whether this is a widespread issue or if it’s only affecting a small number of users.
But users are desperately hoping the issues are caused by a software bug and can be fixed with yet another iOS update.
