US YouTuber pushes GTA 5 to the limit using mods that make it more realistic than ever

A gamer used smart mods to give GTA 5 a super-realistic feel, with improved graphics, real-world cars, and billboards from the likes of Apple and Home Depot.
Grand Theft Auto 5 was released back in 2013 and quickly broke records, pulling in $1 billion in just three days.
After a 13-year wait, fans are gearing up for the release of the upcoming GTA 6 later this year.
But in the meantime, YouTuber Inter decided to add some cool mods to GTA 5 that made the game ‘way too realistic’.
The GTA 5 mods introduce real car brands and LA landmarks
The YouTuber shared a bunch of mods he used to make GTA 5 look more realistic than ever, starting with Chromatix graphic modifications that made the game play in crystal-clear 4K with no negative impact on its performance.
The graphics mod introduces some cool new features, including fluffy clouds, realistically textured road surfaces, and animated on-screen raindrops that make the game look like a movie.

The YouTuber then amped up the realism factor by using the Central Real-Life Environment Mod, which introduced some real-life Los Angeles features into the game.
So, where you might be used to seeing the old Simeon place, you’ll see a Toyota dealership, and instead of the game’s You Tool building, you’ll find a Home Depot.
It also inserts real adverts onto billboards, including ones for the Apple 17 and the upcoming Spider-Man Brand New Day.
With the locations in GTA 5 now looking as real as you like, Inter turned his attention to the cars with the Central Real-Life Traffic Mod.
Similar to the environment mod, the traffic mod turns all the vehicles in GTA 5 into real brands, so you’ll see the likes of BMW, Audi, Tesla, and Honda.

You can also choose to increase the traffic density.
He also introduced game-play mods that take it to the next level
As well as making GTA 5 look more realistic than ever, Inter also installed some mods that would make it feel more realistic.
He used the Immersify mod to make the interactions between NPCs and the player more realistic, meaning he was able to ‘bother’ anyone he passed on the street.

Inter also installed the VHUD mod, which adds core survival mechanics, like health, armor, and hunger, as well as an inventory system, interaction banks and ATMs, and super-detailed gas stations.
It also introduces skills, like running, fishing, hunting, and strength, which you can improve by carrying out a variety of tasks.
“I think this made our game 10 times more realistic,” Inter said.
The YouTuber also made driving more true-to-life with a mod that makes the vehicles in GTA 5 act like the real deal, so when you quickly jam on the brakes, the car will slide and skid.
It also changed how different types of cars will feel to drive, so you get a better experience with a supercar than you would with your average daily driver.
All in all, the mods turned the already impressive GTA 5 world into something a lot more like real life.
