US man pays just $250 for abandoned storage unit that's packed full of Apple products

An abandoned storage unit can hold just about anything, but few people expect to stumble across an entire collection of Apple gear.
That’s exactly what happened when one US bargain hunter took a chance on an abandoned locker.
Before he even found the expensive tech, though, he was celebrating a giant toy dump truck that he said made the whole purchase worthwhile.
By the end of the search, it was clear the $250 gamble had paid off many times over.

Buying abandoned storage units is always a gamble; sometimes they’re full of broken furniture, old clothes, and boxes of junk, while other times they contain hidden tech gems worth far more than what you paid.
One YouTuber, who goes by Jebus on his YouTube channel Treasure Hunting with Jebus hit the jackpot after paying just $250 for a storage unit that turned out to be packed with Apple products.
As he started digging through the contents, the first few finds were fairly ordinary.

In fact, the very first item that got him excited wasn’t an Apple product at all.
Buried near the front of the unit was a giant toy dump truck, which he immediately took home for his young son.
“This makes the entire unit worth it,” he joked before carrying it outside, saying that whatever else he found after that was simply a bonus.

There were dining chairs, an air mattress, a Christmas tree, and a few bags of clothes.
But things quickly took a turn when he opened an unassuming shipping box and discovered a boxed Apple iMac inside.
The computer featured an Intel i5 processor, 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage, making it one of the biggest finds in the entire locker.

Although it was password protected, the creator later factory reset it and said the computer alone was worth several times what he had paid for the storage unit.
The Apple discoveries didn’t stop there either.
As he continued searching, he uncovered multiple iPhone boxes, several AirPods cases, and even more Apple packaging scattered throughout the locker… but none of the products inside.
At one point he joked that the previous owner must have ‘really loved Apple’ after losing count of how many products and boxes had appeared.

The Mac was only the beginning of the bargain storage unit
The storage unit also turned up a surprising collection of other valuables.
Hidden among piles of clothing were Jordan sneakers, Yeezys, Nike Air Max, Vans, Crocs, New Balance trainers, and North Face clothing.

He dug around for a PlayStation 4 complete with controllers and a large stack of games like Grand Theft Auto, because once he found the games, he knew the console wouldn’t be far behind.
There were also gift cards, audio equipment, sports jerseys, and a solid wood dining table tucked beneath an old mattress.
One unusual twist came when the YouTuber explained he had researched the previous owner before buying the unit.

According to public records he found online, the former renter had previously faced multiple armed robbery charges, making later discoveries like loose ammunition, a ski mask, and a BB gun feel far more intriguing.
Despite a few strange items and plenty of empty Apple boxes, the haul proved to be an incredible return on a modest investment.
The YouTuber worked out that he probably found $2,000 worth of items tucked away in the abandoned storage unit.
For just $250, the creator walked away with an Apple iMac, a PlayStation 4, stacks of games and enough premium sneakers to make the bargain feel like an absolute steal.
