Amazon shared the most-asked questions for Alexa in 2025 and it's a wild mix

From celebrity gossip and cooking disasters to science facts and people asking AI what AI actually is, Amazon’s list of the most-asked Alexa questions in 2025 is a genuinely bizarre mix.
Some people wanted practical help with things like poaching eggs, while others were desperately trying to work out celebrity heights and fortunes.
And somehow, one of the biggest trends of the year was people using Alexa to ask questions about artificial intelligence – meta.
What are the most-asked questions that people asked Alexa in 2025?
According to Amazon’s roundup, UK Alexa users spent a huge amount of time asking their trusty AI assistant gadgets about celebrities.
The three most searched stars were Cristiano Ronaldo, Taylor Swift and Elon Musk, proving people are still completely fascinated by athletes, pop stars and billionaires.
There were also loads of oddly specific questions about celebrity heights.

Tom Cruise became one of the most searched celebrities in that category, while former footballer Peter Crouch also appeared high on the list, which honestly makes sense considering he is famously towering.
People were also curious about celebrity relationships and money.
One of the top questions asked who Ed Sheeran is married to, while Elon Musk topped the list for celebrity net worth searches.
Away from celebrities, Alexa users were also asking practical questions like “How long do I poach an egg for?” alongside much bigger questions such as “What’s the diameter of Earth?”

The list somehow included K-pop, Bitcoin, and Rubik’s Cubes
Music was another massive category for Alexa users in 2025.
Taylor Swift became the most-played artist through Alexa devices, while Bruno Mars and Rosé scored the most-played song with ‘APT’.
Amazon also revealed that tracks from the animated movie KPop Demon Hunters dominated streams throughout the year, with several songs landing in the Alexa top 10.
The strange questions were not limited to the UK either.

In Australia, people asked their AI assistant things like “How do I fall asleep?” and “How do I solve a Rubik’s Cube?”
Meanwhile, users in Ireland were apparently focused on Bitcoin prices and Donald Trump’s age.
Honestly, the whole roundup feels less like a tech report and more like somebody accidentally published the whole internet’s search history.
